What is your favorite song?
Ow. This is a hard one. I’m not a fan of this question cause it changes depending on the day – haha! But a song that always brings a smile to my face is New Light by John Mayer. My mom and I enjoy jamming to this in the car like dorks.
(Plus this music video is the greatest.)

What song defines you as a person?
Hmm, I think this is a combination of two songs. One shows the way my mind thinks and the other shows my heart.
(My personality type, you guys! It’s so beautiful – I cried the first time I listened.)
(I love this song and I feel like it accurately represents a lot of my hope.)
What song defines who you want to be as a person?
This entire song is just… wow. I nearly cry every time. I want to feel the peace in this song – not only do I want to feel it, but I want to live it. I’m working on to the point where this is what my soul sings “I’m learning to listen, just to rest in your presence, I’m starting to notice when you are speaking. I’m not in a hurry when it comes to your spirit…”
What song takes your breath away?
Um, I’ve tried to sing along to this so many times and I think I might end up dying trying to hit those notes one day.
What is your favorite song from a musical?
Anything from Hamilton.
What is song that you can’t help but love?
Imagine Dragons just dropped their new album today and I’m kinda hooked on this song. I love the feel of it, it’s a super chill song.
What’s one song you can’t help but dance to?
I love 80’s music, and this song is just fantastic. It’s something my sister and I have fun dancing around to.
What’s a song you can’t help but sing to?
I love Jack Johnson, have for ages – and I never get tired of this song. I’ve heard it so many times and I just love it. It feels like wrapping a blanket around yourself and drinking some hot chocolate. I love songs like that.
What is a song that reminds you of a book/series you love?
This song always makes me think of Scarlet and Wolf from the Lunar Chronicles. The feel of it just works for me?
What is a song that makes you cry?
Cat’s in the Cradle by Harry Chapin – every single time. Waterworks. It’s so raw and real and it isn’t something foreign but something that we’ve all seen in one way or another.

Alright! I did it, and now I have to go write 4k on my novel, heh. I’ve been procrastinating that for a couple days but I really have to do it now. I’m so close to 11k, so that’s awesome! Anybody else doing NaNo? How’s it going? Are you seriously behind like me?

TWO FROM SLEEPING AT LAST KILLED ME. I didn’t know I needed that song until you showed me. That is literally ME in 1 song. How did you even find it???? I started weeping when I was listening to it. ;-; ❤

IT KILLED ME AS WELL. So, it’s from this guy who has a project called Sleeping At Last and it’s just… he’s amazing. He has an entire album dedicated to songs about the planets, an ep for emotions, ways of thinking, etc. So this is from an ongoing project called the Enneagram – which is a personality typing that is my most favorite thing on the planet because it gets it /right/. So he wrote a song for the Two Personality type (he has up to Seven right now and there’s nine personality types) and that’s what I am! 😀 You should definitely take the test and listen to all his music. ;D

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. I absolutely love this tag!!! And your answers…..so perfect. A few of these I’ve never heard before (I DIDN’T KNOW IMAGINE DRAGONS DROPPED A NEW ALBUM!!!! AAGGGGHHHH!!! [also they better pick it back up soon…. BA DUM TSSSSSS!!!! {i’m sorry.}]) but a couple of them I’ve heard and love. Uptown Girl is AMAZING and always makes me super happy… XD And I Will Always Love You is…yeah…way out of my range. But does that stop me from TRYING to reach those high notes? AHA. NEVER.
Cats In The Cradle, though. Oh my goodness, I hate that song. I mean…I don’t HATE it, but like…it’s so sad. I can’t listen to it without being sad. :((

aaaaaahhhhhhhhh I loved Two so much! That is actually also my personality type as well, although I’m elements of one as well. The perfectionist in me is one. But Two just describes me so well and wholly. That one line “what an honor it is to love you” is just ah. My heart, every time, just feels like it’s about to crack my ribcage. Also, “I want to love you well, just learn how, to somehow be loved myself” is just gah. So many emotions!
